    This machine is driven by a regular motor and moves through a crankshaft connecting rod mechanism driven by pulleys and gears. The blades installed on the upper blade holder move up and down under the drive of the connecting rod to cut cardboard, completing the functions of slotting and corner cutting.

    Operation and adjustment of the machine

    1. The use of this machine adopts handheld cardboard feeding and motorized paper cutting to complete the work. Paper feeding must be proficient, accurate, and fast to ensure the quality of cardboard slotting and corner cutting.

    2. Before cutting the paper, first determine the position of the cutting groove according to the paper cutting requirements. Loosen the nut of the connecting bolt between the knife holder and the rear slide rail, and manually push the knife holder and connecting rod head to move the knife and knife holder to the appropriate position. Lock the nut with your hand and secure the knife holder.

    3. The depth of the cutting groove can be achieved by moving the paper stopper on the side of the blade holder (first loosen the nut and move it appropriately, then lock and fix it).

    4. The adjustment of the corner width can be achieved by adjusting the baffle on the left side of the workbench. First, loosen the locking screw, adjust it appropriately, and then lock it.

    5. Regularly check whether the bolt that locks the blade is loose. If it is loose, readjust the gap between the blades and tighten the bolt. When adjusting the blade, use a wooden board to cushion the blade and gently tap it with a hammer. Do not directly hit the blade with a hammer to avoid damaging it. The gap between the blade edges is 0-0.02, which can hinder work or damage the tool. Remember to tighten the bolt after adjusting the tool appropriately.

    Lubrication and maintenance of machines

    In order for this machine to function properly and extend its service life, it must be lubricated properly.

    1. Oil cups are installed on the sliding sleeve and the tool holder that are fitted on the large eccentric shaft. Before starting each shift, they need to be filled with mechanical oil (20 #, 30 #) and checked at any time to ensure that they are not dry or deficient.

    2. The two sliding rail surfaces supporting the lower blade seat, the sliding groove of the rear sliding rail, the pin shaft connecting the connecting rod and the upper blade seat, the large eccentric shaft, and the small sliding rail on the side of the angle cutter all need to be kept clean and lubricated regularly for easy adjustment.

    3. Each bearing with a seat has a small oil cup, and it is necessary to use an oil gun to inject 3 # or 4 # calcium based grease once a month to lubricate the bearing.

    4. The tooth surfaces of the two gears should be appropriately coated with lubricating grease, and it is required to clean them once a month to remove the mixed dirt of paper scraps and grease.

    5. After completing the work, the upper blade should be lowered into the chip chute (by turning the large handwheel) to prevent the blade from automatically falling and injuring people or other tools from hitting the blade edge.
